Port Campbell

Port Campbell some 280 kms west of Melbourne is a tranquil, scenic seaside village which is set on  the only natural harbour between Apollo Bay and Warrnambool.

The permanent population of 200 is seasonally inflated with visitors because of its close proximity to some of the finest coastal scenery in Victoria or for that matter Australia.

Port Campbell’s fishing fleet ensures a regular supply of fresh fish and crayfish (in season) to local eateries. The restaurants, hotel and cafes have a wide and varied menu to suit all tastes and budgets.

Speciality shops displaying local textiles, art and craft, surf wear and gifts, are always very popular with visitors, as are the local markets during the summer period.

Port Campbell provides the angler with the opportunity to catch a fish from the pier or surf, or if you serious about hooking into a good size fish contact Port Campbell Boat Charters who run fishing trips departing from the jetty.

Stroll along the sand or have a swim in the bay (patrolled during summer). Go surfing, boating, scuba diving, snorkeling or just relax and enjoy everything this village has to offer.
